Brette Taylor is an award-winning actress. She is most known for her roles in Nashville, Gotham, Rescue Me, and Laws of Attraction, to name a few.
Her most recent film as a writer, producer, director and actress is her passion project, Babs. Taylor’s producing credits also include the feature film Soul to Keep starring Lou Gossett Jr.) and her current feature film, Border, that she co-wrote and will play the lead in 2025.
Brette was raised in New York City and attended the prestigious High School of Performing Arts where she studied both acting and dance. Her passion for dance also led her to study with the Cincinnati Ballet Preparatory Company at the University of Cincinnati's renowned College Conservatory of Music.
She continues to produce & collaborate as a writer, producer, director and actor through projects highlighting her essence as a streetwise, straight-shooting woman. And with an extensive background in boxing and martial arts, her niche and excellence lie in playing them. "Creating characters like these is what I crave", Brette says.
Brette has worked alongside some heavy hitters in the industry; Pierce Brosnan, Lou Gossett Jr., Julianne Moore, Patrick Swayze, Denis Leary, Delroy Lindo and many more.
Also, a photographer for many years, and like her films, Brette takes pride in creating edgy visuals.
